To design the Idiazabal Cheese Route and formalise the booking it is necessary to complete the section found at the end of this segment.
The registration fee is €39 per person and includes the following kit:
- Before starting the route: the passport that will have to be stamped at each accommodation establishment, a nice, practical route t-shirt and the full map of the route, which contains all the information and points of interest.
- Upon completing the circuit: each hiker will receive a delicious half of Idiazabal cheese and a bottle of cider as a reward for their efforts.
Once the details have been provided, a pre-booking will be sent to confirm it, and when they receive it each participant must pay the amount of €60 as a signal and method of payment.
Each hiker must have paid 100% of the booking amount at least 10 days before starting the Idiazabal Cheese Route. If the booking is cancelled within a period greater than 10 days prior to the beginning of the route, each hiker will lose €20 of the €60 paid in advance. If the booking is cancelled within a period of less than 10 days prior to the beginning of the route, the Idiazabal Cheese Route will keep the €60 paid in advance. Delays in payment will be considered cancellations in all cases.
With regard to accommodation, hikers will have full freedom to choose between the different boards; that is to say, bed and breakfast, half board and full board. Additionally, the accommodation establishments offer the possibility of taking a picnic for the journey at the start of each stage. Their price and what it includes is not part of the Idiazabal Cheese Route offer and will be paid in the establishment.
Groups of between 5 and 10 people will receive one free registration; that is to say, a discount of €39. In the case of groups larger than 10 people, 3 free registrations will be given, with a discount of €117.
